Grammar Checker

A Claude skill that proofreads any piece of copy — product copy, PDP slides, banners, captions, emails — against five categories (spelling, punctuation, sentence formation, readability, house-style consistency), with British English as the house standard. It flags each issue with a short reason and a targeted fix, then returns a clean corrected version. It does not restyle, re-voice, or rewrite copy that isn't broken.

How to use

  1. Download the skill folder and add it to your Claude skills directory.
  2. Open Claude and paste the copy you want checked — "check this", "proofread this", "any errors?", or just pasting and asking if it reads right will trigger the skill.
  3. Claude returns a numbered list of findings: each one labelled with its category (Spelling, Punctuation, Sentence formation, Readability, or Consistency / house style), a one-line reason, and a targeted fix.
  4. After the list, a Corrected version section gives the full text with every flagged fix applied — copy-paste ready. Only the flagged fixes are applied; nothing else is touched.
  5. Brand names are protected — Alps Goodness, Good Vibes, DERMDOC, NYBae — and their fixed written forms (DERMDOC all-caps, NYBae one word) are enforced as consistency fixes.
  6. If you want a rewrite or tone work instead, ask explicitly — Claude will switch hats rather than blurring the two jobs.
